Why K Kubed Exists

Being away at overnight camp is exciting, but even confident kids can miss home once routines change.

K Kubed helps families send handwritten cards to their campers while they’re away. A short note from home can make a big difference, and we take care of delivering it directly to camp at the right time.

Meet the Founder

Weston Kauffman

Weston Kauffman started K Kubed after his own experience at overnight camp showed how much a simple card from home can matter.

One summer without a card felt long. The next summer, receiving one changed the experience entirely. That small moment turned into the idea behind K Kubed.

Today, Weston designs each card and helps make sure every order is handled with care and attention. The goal is simple: help campers feel supported while giving families an easy way to stay connected.

“As a manager at a camp for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I saw firsthand how the cards from K Kubed brought comfort and joy to our campers of all ages. These thoughtful cards were a perfect remedy for homesickness, reminding out campers that their families were thinking of them throughout the week away. Weston’s initiative has created something truly special that connects families and supports campers during their time away from home.”

- Leigh J, Adventure Camp Manager

“Campers have the chance to get a note while they are away from families – this is so cute!

- Jessica, counselor

“Love this! I honestly didn’t know about the cards until this email, literally never crossed my mind! This will be his first overnight camp.”

Natalie, parent

“Weston created cards he wanted at camp, giving parents and caretakes an easy opportunity to send love, support and a funny message while their campers are away!”
